After winning 1st at the National championship Arina Rahman win 1st again at the PCP Skate comp. Izzul Rahman who finishes top 9 at the National championship this time finishers top 4th. Izzul the youngest to compete bag RM 300 price money. At the sticker slap Arina reach 12ft 2in, for 1st spot whle Izzul manage to slap at 11ft 4in, 2nd place goes to Ja of Sibling Skatboard and 3rd place goes to Amar of Lasca Skateshop.

Undisputedly No 1 in Malaysia winning the Malaysian National Championship in street discipline beside the first to compete in Vert and Bowl internationally. After his stint in Denmark and Sweden Arina felt he should compete in the street event to qualify himself to the coming IOXC Indonesia and other event representing Malaysia. The Malaysian Extreme Sports Championship held on 2nd of October last Sunday saw Arina came out Champion followed by Usher at 2nd spot and Adam Zari at 3rd spot. Izzul the youngest of the Triangle Skaters qualified in the final and finishes 9th out of 27 skaters. While Fairuzal the dynamic skater did not compete still recovering from his injury

After the Demark's stint Arina is back in Sweden. Just now we received news that Arina was at Halmstad trying out the super ramp with some friends. This coming August the Halmstat festival will again featured with the super ramp demos and competitions and Arina will be taking part like last year.

While the Malaysian Skateboarding scene was obsessed by this year Go Skate Day with street skateboarding competitions and events in most cities and spots. One Malaysian, Arina Rahman was ripping the bowl in Europe and this time at the DC CPH Pro 2011 Copenhagen, Denmark. The events participated by skaters from America and Europe professional and amateur.As the only Asian at the event Arina proved worthy to travel to Denmark from his present station in Malmo Sweden. In the Bowl Open category participated by about 30 skaters, Arina finished in the top 7 and bag home price money of 500 dkk.

Arina still keep his touch on street / park skating by winning the Penang X Jam 2011. The Comp loaded by hardcore Malaysia Street skater like Azreen, Darrel, Kuchai, Amy Gurun, Akim, Yuki, Koya and more. Most skater has made lots of progression since the last comp held at the Penang Youth Park last year. Koya the hot favorite proved still the most promising skater in Penang. The presents of Arina in his first appearance in Penang skateboarding and Darrel from Sabah added more colours to the event, also Izzul Rahman of Trianglesk8 who finishers among the top ten skaters.

The final round of Betongcupen "Sweden National Concrete cup series" This time its held big with big stars of bowl skaters from all over the skateboarding world flog in Malmo. Among skaters listed was Mike Vallely, Benji Galloway, Stu Graham the local hero back from injury Jocky Olson and Malaysian own pro skater Arin Rahman.

Although Mike V no Arina did not win top spot but they stole the hearts of the crowds with their sick tricks.

"During the end of last week and over the weekend there has been a festival in Halmstad on the westcoast of Sweden. One of the many events that went down was the skateboard demos on the Superramp. The rumour tells us that the shows were nothing but a success! Among the riders you could find some of the best vertskaters in Sweden such as Mathias Svensson (builder of the superramp) Macki, J-Mag, Pontus Björn , Robin Sandgren and Arina Rahman all the way from Malaysia. One of the riders that would like to stay anonymous describes the event as a rockstar tour with firstclass hotels and quote ” getting paid for doing what you love” end quote. We also overheard som information regarding the superramp beeing placed indoors during the winter, meaning Halmstad is from now on a place worth visiting also during wintertime! Avesta an 8 hour bus ride from Malmo. They took the bus together with friends and some other skaters from Malmo to Avesta. It was a tiring ride Arina was not filling well with backache. He call us by phone in Malaysia twice going and leaving fr Avesta. Avesta is the 5th stop of the Swedish National Concrete park Skateboarding competitions. Again this thime hi reaches the semis but this time he won "the trick of the heat" landing the friggin airs. Now with only one stop left back in Malmo Arina is ranked 15th of the 49 participents

Skating and dancing in the higgledy-piggledy

Skating and dancing? Yes, it is possible to mix. It does not show at least Thursday night's show at the Skate Park in the Western Harbour in Malmö.

The project is borderline showing off what they worked on in spring. Musicians, dancers and skaters have jointly developed a concept that is unique.

- It actually works better than I thought from the beginning, "says Oskar Gydell, skateboarders and in the project.

- There are many similarities between these different expressions, and that is what we show up.

Arina now called Ari by his friends in Sweden wae involve in a show that combine skate n dance in a theatrical show at Staple Skatepark Malmo Sweden. This project was mastermind by Oskar Gydell a legendary vert skater in Malmo. check out the video and photos.

Last Saturday the 27th Mach as we're in Malaysia sleeping, two BOYS from Malaysia Adam 25 and Arina 19 were at the top of the world competing in a skateboard competition in Stockholm Sweden. This is their second comp since they were in Sweden. The fist one few weeks ago in Gothenbog Area51 skatepark and now at The Stockholm Skatepark about 5 hour driving away fr Gothenbog. Arina is improving well now among top ten best vert skaters in Sweden.

This comp RM 2010 (Riksmasterskap) Arina manage to settle at sixth spot in VERT category while Adam still strugling to be among the best. What we heard was that they arrived from Malmo with Jocke Olsson just minutes from the start. And adam told us that he didn't got time to warmup. The result although Jocke was not happy with his skating still manage to get 2nd spot. Oskar Gydel got 1st and Arina 6th in the VERT Final.

Arina now flying high being able to compete the same par as the pros vert skaters of Europe. The second comp. in Europe his's among the top ten . In this comp he manage to get at the sixth spot.

They flew to Sweden via Stanted UK. In Sweden Mr Jocke Olson will pick them at Gotherberg airport and will start practising as soon as they at Gothernberg and the comp. is on the 6th of March.
